In addition to the title of Miss Earth won by Miss India, there were other titles awarded: Miss Earth Fire went to Miss Puerto Rico, Yeidy Bosques; Miss Earth Water was Miss Thailand, Watsoporn Wattanakoon; and Miss Earth Air was given to Miss Ecuador, Jennifer Stephanie Pazmino.
Nicole Faria, a 20-year-old girl from India, was crowned Miss Earth 2010 in the final round of the pageant in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang City in the south central province of Khanh Hoa on December 4.
She is 1.76m tall, weighs 49kg and measures 85-58-89. She was outstanding among the 84 contestants from around the world and she earned the top prize in the third largest beauty pageant in the world-Miss Earth 2010.
The Miss Earth pageant is held annually and Vietnam is the only country to host it besides the Philippines.
Fourteen candidates entered the semi-final round, including beauties from Vietnam, Ecuador, Thailand, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa, the US, Italy, the Czech Republic, Japan, Venezuela and India.
After the evening gown competition, the seven best candidates who were chosen to enter the Q&A round were from India, Ecuador, South Africa, Venezuela, Thailand, Japan and Puerto Rico.

At the pageant’s final night hosted at Vinpearl Land Resort, the first runner up went to Miss Ecuador Jennifer Stephanie Pazmino.
Miss Thailand Watsoporn Wattanakoon has won the second place and Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy has ranked the third.
The top seven contestants are from Indian, Venezuela, Ecuador, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Thailand and Japan. Miss Vietnam World 2010 Luu Thi Diem Huong has been listed in the top 14.
