Yara Liz Lasanta Salon Santiago became the first semi-finalist Miss World 2010 by winning the women Beach Beauty contest held in Hainan Island, China.
Lasanta Yara, 24, 1.72 m high, a television host, famous model in Puerto Rico. In addition, she holds a BA in journalism.
Part Miss Sea (Beach Beauty) in Miss World 2010 scheduled to take place on 16/10. But due to unfavorable weather, the sharpness of the image of the contestants was delayed until today (19/10). Before handing the throne to the highest Lasanta Yara, the judges chose the top 20, top 5 candidates with the most standard form. Yara addition, four beautiful people in the top 5 are: Miss America - Alexandria Mills (runner-1), Miss Norway - Mariann Birkedal (second runner-up), Miss China - Xiao Tang (runner-3) and Miss French Polynesia - Mihilani Teixeira (4 runner).
